The Scout meets YMCA specifications for a 5 ft guard chair, and is recommended by leading lifeguard consultants.

Its solid, stable design is ensured by a 54 ¼” x 49 ½” base on the 5 ft version, and a 54 ¼” x 52 ½” base on the 6 ft version.

Common to both Scouts is a 360 degree rotating seat, and heavy duty 5” wheels that are designed to engage only when the chair is tipped and moved to maximize stability and easy portability.
